1. What these terms cover

These terms govern the use of IO PATINA Account, the common identity and account-management service offered by IO Patina LLC. Account can let you sign in to participating products and, where enabled, manage your profile, account security, connected products, family relationships and certain privacy or parental-consent decisions.

These terms do not replace a product's own licence, subscription, purchase agreement, privacy notice or product terms. The corporate website terms apply to the informational company website rather than to your use of Account. If a product has additional terms, review those terms for your use of that product.

2. Eligibility, registration and accurate information

You must use the service only where your participation is permitted by applicable law and by the relevant product's eligibility rules. Some products or features require guardian involvement, account verification or additional consent. Provide accurate information needed to establish your account or make eligibility and consent decisions, and update it when necessary. Do not misrepresent your age, identity or authority over another person's account.

A parent's confirmation or verification applies to the specific request and does not automatically authorize access to every IO PATINA product or unrelated data processing.

3. Accounts and security

Keep your login methods and account-recovery options secure. Do not share credentials in a way that lets another person impersonate you or a guardian. Notify support@iopatina.com if you suspect unauthorized use. We may require renewed authentication for sensitive account changes. Features and compatible login methods can vary by device and provider.

4. Connected products and family controls

A common Account can connect to more than one participating IO PATINA product. Each product determines its own availability, features, commercial terms and eligible permissions. Guardian-child relationships and sharing settings are managed under available Account and product capabilities. Do not attempt to obtain access to a child's or another user's records without authorization.

5. Parent verification and consent

If a product requires parental verification, its workflow may use Epic Kids Web Services or another identified verification service. The provider may present additional checks based on the jurisdiction. Completing the check confirms only the provider's verification outcome for that request; any consent to data processing is a separate decision made after the relevant product information is shown. Please read Parent Verification and Consent and the relevant product notices.

6. Acceptable use

Use Account lawfully. Do not bypass security or eligibility checks, interfere with the service, attempt to obtain someone else's personal information or credentials, send abusive automated traffic, or provide false parental authority. We may take proportionate steps to address abuse, security incidents or applicable legal requirements.

7. Account closure, access changes and records

You may ask to close your Account through available controls or contact support@iopatina.com. Closing an Account may affect access to connected products. It does not necessarily cancel a separate paid subscription or erase product records held under separate lawful requirements. Some security, transaction and consent-evidence records may remain for legitimate retention obligations as explained in the Account Privacy Notice. We will explain the applicable steps when responding to your request.

We may restrict an Account where needed to address a security threat, breach of these terms or legal obligation, while respecting applicable consumer and parental rights.

8. Service availability and third-party services

We seek to operate Account reliably but cannot promise uninterrupted access. Sign-in, verification and certain other functions depend on outside providers, networks and devices. Provider-specific terms and privacy notices may apply to your direct interaction with those providers.

9. Responsibility and applicable law

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Account is offered subject to reasonable technical and service limitations. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable privacy and consumer-protection rights. California law governs these terms to the extent consistent with mandatory law applicable to you. Product-specific disputes and remedies may be addressed by the terms for that product.
